Foreday Morning is one of the signature events of Barbados’ Crop Over festival. The pre-dawn celebration sees revellers take to the streets covered in paint, mud and powder while dancing behind music trucks playing soca and calypso music. The event offers a J’ouvert-style experience and traditionally starts in Bridgetown before concluding on the Mighty Grynner Highway.
Foreday Morning 2026 takes place on Saturday 1 August from 1am (6am BST).

Foreday Morning remains a major highlight of the Crop Over season, attracting thousands of revellers each year. With paint, powder, music trucks and bands taking to the streets before dawn, the event serves as one of the festival’s biggest road experiences ahead of Grand Kadooment.
