The organisers of the 50th edition of Anguilla Summer Festival, themed The Family Reunion are calling all revellers from around the world to join the festival train. This summer will occasion another unique blend of traditional carnival customs with a genuine tribute to community spirit, promising an unforgettable experience for travellers seeking cultural immersion and lively entertainment. The week-long celebration honours the island’s cultural legacy, bringing locals and visitors into a bubble of pure bliss.
The Anguilla Summer Festival serves as a platform to showcase Anguilla’s rich identity and the enduring spirit of its people. It will comprise of events held across Anguilla, allowing attendees to enjoy the island’s world-famous restaurants, street food, cultural centres, and stunning beaches.
The festival will feature various events, including the J’Ouvert celebration on Monday 5 August, Miss Anguilla Pageant on Tuesday 6 August, the Calypso Monarch Competition on Wednesday 7 August and the Grand Parade of Troupes on Friday 9 August.
The festival will climax with the exciting Poker Run and the Champ of Champs boat race, showcasing Anguilla’s national sport and its tradition, talents, and skill.
The 50th-anniversary celebration of the Anguilla Summer Festival is scheduled from Sunday 21 July to Sunday 11 August.
