She captured the crown at the inaugural year of the competition in 2016, and she has done it again; Carlyn XP (Carlyn Xavier-Phillip) is the 2017 Bouyon Soca Monarch. The competition was held last night, Saturday 18 February, at Carnival City, Roseau, Dominica.
