As part of the celebrations for this year’s instalment of Trinidad Carnival, another staple in the carnival calendar is the Chutney Soca Monarch (CSM); the finals this year are scheduled for Saturday, 10 February 2024.
From a field of thirty-two competitors in the semi-finals, eleven will come up against defending monarch Daddy Chinee.
The event, free to the public, will also feature performances by five past CSM Kings, including Ravi B and Karma, Nishard M, Rooplal G, Neval Chatelal and Daddy Chinee.
The Chutney Soca Monarch Finals Saturday 10 February, at Skinner Park in San Fernando.
