There’s surely no need to mention why there’s no physical Road March this year in T&T. But in true Trini style the show goes on, undeterred by a little thing like a global pandemic, and the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) has launched its online Road March 2021.
By teaming up with with mobile phone company bmobile for the Online Road March competition, TUCO is helping to support local artists by offering $100,000 for the performer whose song gains the most votes. There’s an incentive for locally based voters too, as bmobile voters have a chance to win one year’s free service.
To support an artist, text the Artist’s Code 7684 if based in Trinidad (the local rate is TT$2). For international voting, text your votes to 1 (868) 798 2661 – note that higher rates may apply for international text messages.
Voting in the bmobile | TUCO Online Road March competition ends at 11.59pm (local time) on Tuesday 16 February.
