The British Library wants you to share your Caribbean food stories

|

The British Library has a plate with your name on it and is looking for individuals to relive their stories and memories of Caribbean food.

The BL is seeking out food stories that connect to childhood, migration, work, family, business, travel, community groups, political campaigning etc. Home cooks, caterers, food suppliers and community cooks of all ages are invited to contribute.

If you are interested in being interviewed, please contact Naomi ([email protected]) by Sunday 28 February. You should include some information about yourself and why you would like to share your food story.

Interviews are likely to be held remotely in late March, early April and will be archived at the British Library, becoming part of the permanent collection. There is no guarantee that everyone will be interviewed, but all request will be responded to. There will also be other ways to get involved in the broader project.
