Vincent John, chair of the Association of Calypsonians and Soca Artistes UK (ACASA), has been honoured by the University Alliance with the Jubilee Award. Vincent received the award for his contributions to the University of Greenwich and the higher education sector as Director of Procurement & Business Services over the past 26 years.
The awards ceremony and dinner were held at Kingston University, Surrey, on Tuesday 7 June. Dignitaries in attendance included Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof Jane Roscoe and Vice-Chancellor Prof Jane Harrington along with leaders of universities that are members of the Alliance.
