First time finalist Dezral is the 2022 Calypso Monarch of Saint Lucia

From a field of eleven which included defending Calypso Monarch (2019) Ti Caro there could be only one winner, Dezral son of the Mighty Pep claimed victory with his compositions Legacy and Calling All Saints.

The finals of the National Calypso Monarch were held on Saturday 9 July at The SAB, Vigie Playing Field, Saint Lucia, The event was live streamed via the Carnival Saint Lucia Youtube channel and Facebook page.  

Here are the results:

1st. Dezral Legacy and Calling All Saints (763 points)

2nd. Ti Caro Na and King’s Fury (744 points)

3rd. Walleigh Tribute to Vada and Outside (738 points)

4^th. TC Brown Lucia and Helen & Points (725 Points)
